I bought this for my parent's computer and works really good. Now we don't need to pay a long distance call.
This quick cam has a great quality of picture, especially for such an affordable price.
I was encouraged to buy a webcam by my stepdaughter. When it came I had to install it twice just to see what it would do. The documentation is scarce and hard to use for a neophyte like me.And one person I was using it with said it kept cutting out and I had to restart it many times.I don't think this technology is very mature yet. It works OK but there are pitfalls.
I bought one for myself and one for my friend who moved to Switzerland. It is fun to be able to talk face to face. The quality of the sound and picture are good. She had a little trouble with the software installation, but all is well now.
The privacy shade is a great feature, as is the the snapshot button. This webcam was much more than I expected. It was easy to set up, easy to configure and it has an incredible picture. I would recommend this as a first cam for anybody. Logitech has a real winner on their hands with this line of cameras.
